Introduction to Litecoin (LTC)
Litecoin is a cryptocurrency that was founded back in 2011 by a guy named Charlie Lee, formerly employed on Google. Litecoin was one of the earlier coins to launch and is a fork of Bitcoin. Back in 2018 Litecoin surged in price along with the mass adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptos and is today still used for payments due to its fast transaction speed. Likewise Bitcoin, Litecoin is a digital currency used by both private persons and companies for payments and other blockchain data storage.
